13 Reasons Why by: Jay Asher is about a girl named Hannah Baker who commits suicide. The book is told by Clay Jensen, a member of Hannah's list, and Hannah herself on tapes before her death. On the tapes Hannah tells stories about the people who connect to her death. I would recommend this book to both boys and girls because not only is it a great book but, it has an important message. The message is, people have an impact on the lives of others. It's not possible to know everything else going on in a person's life and how you might be adding to their pain.
